Ruby Installer for Windows (ex. One-Click Installer)
かつては「One-Click Installer - Windows」の名前でなじみ深かったRuby Installer for Windowsプロジェクトが最近、RubyInstaller RC1を出しているようです。

For those not already familiar with RubyInstaller, these versions

continue the great work started with the original One-Click Installers
by providing both 1.8 and 1.9 versions of MRI Ruby for Windows.
One-Click Installerから始まったプロジェクトだけど、RubyInstallerと名前を変えて、Windows版のMRI Ruby (もっとも普通のRuby)をバージョン1.8と1.9両方を提供するよ。

今回のリリースは、こんなにも関わった人がいるよー。すごいなー。
というわけで今からインストールしてみる
今 rubyinstaller-1.8.6-p383-rc1.exe をダウンロード中。
もちろん、もうイヤな目に遭いたくないから、Ruby 1.8.6を使うよ。そうなんだ、私がRubyで使いたい機能はそんなに洗練されていないんだ。だって使う人が少ないから。Railsやその周辺とはワケが違うんだ。そんなのもうとっくに諦めてる。だから、まだRuby 1.8 (1.8.6, not 1.8.7)を使い続けるんだ。
